Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Digital Version Players Struggle for Platinum

Reports from gaming outlet Kotaku shed light on this issue, which has sparked mounting frustration among digital owners. Despite their best efforts, players are unable to complete the quest, as highlighted by various posts on platforms like the FF7 subreddit.

Frustration Mounts Among Players

On platforms such as the FF7 subreddit, players have expressed their frustration, detailing their futile attempts to progress. One player lamented, "I've hit over 32k on the bike minigame multiple times in a row, trying various different ways to see if it will finally go through, and it just never pops for his quest."

Others echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the inconvenience of encountering this obstacle just before completing their playthrough. Unfortunately, there seems to be no immediate solution for digital players.

Disparity Between Digital and Physical Copies

While players with physical copies of the game have found a workaround-uninstalling the game, disconnecting their console from the internet, and then reinstalling from the disc-digital purchasers remain at a disadvantage. Until Square Enix addresses and resolves the issue through a future update, digital owners must contend with the incomplete experience.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which debuted to critical acclaim on Feb. 29, has faced its first significant hiccup since release. Despite this setback, the game continues to garner praise for its reimagining of the beloved classic.

In related news, Square Enix has announced the impending release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's soundtrack on April 10th, with select tracks already available for streaming.
