WWE Predicitions, Latest News & Update: Goldberg Promises One Last Match With Lots Of ‘Maybes’

Bill Goldberg unsurprisingly made it official when he appeared on the Oct. 17 edition of Monday Night Raw, setting up a much-clamored clash with Brock Lesnar. This means that the two will lock horns once again after the two went at it during Wrestlemania 20.

But there seems to be more questions tied up with Goldberg’s return. One is if it will indeed be a one-match deal. Goldberg admitted the drama he stirred when he left the company 12 years ago though he adds that he loved being a superhero to the kids.

Apparently, this was one reason why he considered a return. He wanted to show his son that daddy still had what it takes to wrestle and "kick some ass," WWE.com reported. But at 49 years old, there are many concerns on how Goldberg can survive a vastly improved Brock Lesnar who has been annihilating anyone that stands in his way – both in the WWE and UFC.

Goldberg to lose?

From all indications, it may be hard to believe that Goldberg will come out of this storyline as the victor once again. His condition is suspect and it would raise more howls considering the amount of investment that the WWE has built on the “Beast Incarnate."

Goldberg hardly seems like a guy that would accept a fall, unless big money was involved. Hence, the odds-on-favorite obviously belongs to Lesnar once the match is officially set. Rumors have it that Goldberg and Lesnar will face off at Survivor Series.

Maybe, maybe

Previous reports claim that this will be a one-match deal which hardly makes any sense. Fans showed how much they love Goldberg and given some more matches, the WWE could profit from his appearances, Bleacher Report reported.

Past his prime, Goldberg could make select appearances similar to what the Undertaker and Sting did. Hence, adding that "maybe" repeatedly to answer the challenge could open doors to future matches – not necessarily limited to Lesnar.
