'Overwatch' Latest News & Update: 'Overwatch' Hints Christmas Event; Data Files Reveal Holiday Carols

It seems everyone is all set for Blizzard, although the developer has not been able to confirm the "Overwatch" event yet. Data miners have confirmed it by posting the game's theme on Reddit.

The said information about the Christmas-themed "Overwatch" event is no longer a surprise since Blizzard had already celebrated the summer games and Halloween by providing its team-based shooter a makeover. It was also mentioned that it plans to release more "Overwatch" DLCs and launch new in-game events, according to iloverunescape.

The game has hinted new decorations on the maps. It is already expected that there will be pick-outs of the "Overwatch's" heroes. There is a big possibility that they might have new skins for the players to unlock, with fresh sprays and player icons. This has not been fully confirmed yet and this speculation is still based on previous events, as suggested by Gamespot. The data miners offer uncovered new voice lines, mainly involving Sombra. Sombra is the game's new and latest hero.

In November 22, Blizzard released a brand new and improved version of Symmetra on the "Overwatch" public test realm. Drastic changes were done to make her a more viable pick. In addition to a few tweaks on her core abilities, she is now the very first character in the game to have two ultimate skills and abilities.

In addition, there is a feature called "stay as team," which might be live inside the "Overwatch's" public test realm on PC.  It introduced the ability to team up with random players conducting the game once it is completed; if you think you can work well as a team and you want to stay together.
