Titanfall Launch Trailer Released, Slowmo Mechs are so Hot Right Now [VIDEO]

Titanfall, Respawn Entertainment's upcoming multiplayer shooter, is only a week away from release. Publisher Electronic Arts has today posted the game's Launch Trailer for all to enjoy. Despite the game not featuring a traditional single-player mode, the trailer includes riveting and emotional dialogue meant to give some content and emotion to the battles that players will face when they boot up this multiplayer mech-shooter.

The trailer shows off just what the former Call of Duty developers have been working on since their departure from Activision and Infinity Ward. A montage of wall-running, slow motion jumping and falling, explosions, parkour, and shooting can be expected. So much shooting.

Titanfall Map Names, Layouts and All Game Modes Leaked

Titanfall will be a 6v6 multiplayer romp featuring a leaked 15 maps in total, along with five game modes. Whether or not Titanfall will have a Season Pass is unknown, as the developer has said they have no news on one “at this time”.

Titanfall will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and on PC on March 11. With its release comes a Collectors Edition with an 18 inch tall Titan figure complete with LEDs to scare the neighborhood children, a 190 page artbook, a schematics poster of the Atlas Titan, and of course, the game itself. The Collectors Edition will be sold for the heavy price of $249.99.

I downloaded the beta prior to its public opening and didn't get too into it, as competitive multiplayer is not my thing, but it does seem like a pretty good game. I guess we'll find out how good it is once review embargoes are lifted next week.
