Game developer Square Enix has just released its "Final Fantasy XV's" huge March update that contains "Chapter 13 Verse 2."  An accompanying trailer was also released by the studio that gives a glimpse of the Episode Gladiolus.

The latest patch is actually two updates rolled into one, version 1.06 and 1.07.  Limited information is available at the moment, but Patch 1.06 contains the new chapter, which is an alternate route to Gladiolus DLC; Arcana spells (Alterna, Holy and Death) improvement; and two new in-game music tracks playable when driving the car around.

It also includes the winning photo of the previously held contest, viewable via Takka's Pit Stop in Hammerhead, Timed Quests temporary conclusion and various bug fixes.  Patch 1.07 is said to contain several more bug fixes and gameplay enhancements, according to Gematsu.

Prior to the release of the latest patch, "Final Fantasy XV" players were led to believe that they have to start the game again in order to arrive at the latest chapter.  Fans were finally relieved when first downloaders started sharing that it is not the case.  However, the characters stats and gears from the previous chapter will not be carried over to the new one, Pure PlayStation added.

Additionally, Square Enix has already released the first DLC episode, "Episode Gladiolus."  The fighting style of  Gladiolus is quite different from Noctis.  The former is more focused on defense and counterattacks.  The story will be told from his perspective during the events away from the main storyline.

As an added bonus, the studio included a teaser trailer for "Episode Prompto" that is scheduled for a June release. The upcoming game chapter will allow games to take control of, well, Prompto, another companion of Noctis.

"Final Fantasy XV" is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  The episodiac DLCs are available for $4.99 a piece and are available from the console's games store.  Watch the game's March Update Trailer here:
