Project Scorpio And Games To Be Revealed Within A Few Weeks, Says Speculations

Following Microsoft's confirmation that Project Scorpio is expected to launch sometime in 2017, gamers have speculated some of the details regarding the newest flagship console. Recent speculations have hinted that the company has plans to reveal the new gaming system in the coming weeks. Sources have also noted that the reveal might also include the system's launch games. It is understandable that the lack of games can really affect a gaming console's success.

Game Rant reports that several sources have claimed that the Project Scorpio's official reveal will also unveil the console's upcoming launch software. The titles that were mentioned included "Star Wars Battlefront 2", "Forza Motorsport 7" and "Red Dead Redemption 2". Fans expect the two third-party games to steal the limelight from Microsoft's racing game.

Other games that are expected to share some gameplay updates or details are "FIFA", "Madden" as well as "Call of Duty". All these game are also reportedly going to run in 4K based on Microsoft's claim that Project Scorpio can handle 4K output natively. Microsoft has also hinted that "Crackdown 3" and "State of Decay" might also make an appearance during the console's official reveal.

According to reports, the games detailed above were apparently listed and provided to a third-party website that is expected to report about the Project Scorpio. Some fans also noted that "Sea of Thieves" was strangely absent from the suspected game lineup for the console's reveal. Rumors have also indicated that the game system will launch with a wide range of 4K-ready games. This is supposedly credited to the device's "change resilience" feature that reportedly allows dynamic upscaling without the need for a patch.

A recent article from Gamenguide previously reported about the Project Scorpio and its product page. According to the news, Microsoft has already revealed that the console's product page has gone live. The page does not offer an option to pre-order the flagship console, but an optional e-mail notification will reportedly be sent once it becomes available.
