With the official launch of "Destiny: Age of Triumph", players can now enjoy the new features offered by Bungie's last free content updates. Apparently, most players already know what to expect from the update courtesy of the developer's livestreams, but a new feature is also projected to arrive this Friday. Gamers will be surprised that the mysterious vendor Xur will start to sell exotic weapon bundles.
Prior to the "Destiny: Age of Triumph" update, Xur usually offered three exotic class-specific armor and an exotic weapon every week. Game Rant points out that the exotic weapon bundle element was not originally included, but the developers appear to have thrown in the extra content. Guardians will be able to grab their first bundle com Friday this week as the merchant visits the game's social spaces.
According to Bungie, the exotic weapon bundles from Xur will allow gamers to purchase a random exotic weapon together with a weapon ornament for that specific item. "Destiny: Age of Triumph" players should prepare 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust for each purchase. It might seem like a good deal at first, but sources note that it might be overpriced in terms of resources.
Sources have analyzed that weapons bought from Xur usually range from 17 to 23 Strange Coins depending on the weapon type. Ornaments on the other can be purchased from the Silver Dust Kiosk for 25 Silver Dust as well. Players should note that the "Destiny: Age of Triumph" update has added more items in the Silver Dust Kiosk to accommodate the new loot as well. In comparison with the exotic weapon bundles, gamers will be spending more Strange Coins compared to individual purchases.
"Destiny: Age of Triumph" is presenting Crota's End as the first refreshed raid this week, reports Gamenguide. The featured raid mechanic has reportedly confused players that expected all of the refreshed raids to become available immediately. Together with Xur's exotic weapon bundles, the information has obviously blindsided most of the players.
