‘Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale’ PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android: April 18 Release Date Revealed

"Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" publishers have finally unveiled the first official trailer for the series. The trailer revealed the cast as well as the game's villain Thanos in the first of five episodes. The teaser trailer also noted that the game's first episode would be released on April 18 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices.

Smash Hit Season Pass Launches In May

The "Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" is expected to be another smash hit series from Telltale Games, Entertainment Buddha reported. It should be noted that the multi-platform game will cost $4.99. In addition, a season pass physical disc is also expected to be released. The season pass is slated to include the first episode along with the ability to download the remaining four episodes at launch.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" trailer revealed that all five of the guardians from the film will be making an appearance in the game. Furthermore, Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot will also be joined by the main villain Thanos. However, Telltale Games noted that the new series will be featuring an entirely new and original story.

Telltale Develops Its First Marvel Game

Meanwhile, Telltale Games has announced that the first "Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series"  episode will be entitled "Tangled Up in Blue." Telltale Games also confirmed that the game will be based more on the firm universe instead of on the comics aspect. Furthermore, a new image has been unveiled showing Thanos as an impending threat in the game.

"Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" is the most recent series from Telltale Games in a long line of licensed games. Moreover, it is also their first Marvel game. Previously, Telltale also tackled the superhero genre with "Batman: The Telltale Series," Pikelkin.org reported. Check out the official teaser below:
