It seems like OlliOlli was a hit for Roll7, because the developer announced today that they'll be porting the game over to the PlayStation 3, 4, PC, Mac, and Linux this summer.

It's early yet, but Director Simon Bennett is already confident about progress. "We already have a first playable up and running on the PS4, it's like our little OlliOlli grew up and got some balls! Really feels amazing on the Dualshock too," he said in a press release.

The game is best described as a sidescrolling 8-bit take on EA's Skate series, using similar movements with the analog controls to bust out any number of grinds, slides, and flip trick combos.

OlliOlli will be in good hands. Taking on the ports for the PlayStation 3 and 4 port is Bitly, a company known for doing impressive ports of a nice range of titles including Jet Set Radio, Sonic CD, Spelunky, and Fez.

Meanwhile, Devolver Digital, publisher of Hotline Miami on the Vita (they're working on the sequel as well), the Shadow Warrior reboot for the PS4 and Xbox One, and LUFTRAUSERS, will be taking care of things on the PC, Mac, and Linux side.

Roll7 also announced that a patch is currently in development for the game and the crash bug is almost fixed. When it's complete, "we'll bundle in a nice little update that should put a smile on people's faces," said the team.

Gamers can expect the ports this summer. Originally a PS Vita exclusive, OlliOlli released in January. You can check out our review of the game here.
