'Monster Hunter Rise' Version 3.7 Update Guide: New Quests, In-Game Content, Bug Fixes, and More

Capcom released the patch notes for Monster Hunter Rise's Version 3.7 Update, revealing new additional in-game content for the action-adventure role-playing game.

The said additions include new Event Quests, all of which will be available on a given schedule within the month of December, along with new Special Buddies that they can keep. The version update will also bring in a list of improvements and bug fixes in the game.

New Content

As mentioned earlier, the Version 3.7 Update brings in new additional content in Monster Hunter Rise, including two new set of two Event Quests, each will be available in a specific day.

According to a post in Capcom Unity, the "Blazin' Soul of a Warrior" and the "Challenge Quest 07" Event Quests will be available in the game on December 24th at 12:00 AM GMT (December 23rd at 4:00 PM PST).

The former, according to Nintendo Life, will make them face the Magnamalo in the Lava Caverns, while the latter requires them to slay the Apex Zinogre, the Apex Mizutsune, and the Apex Diablos in the Infernal Springs.

On the other hand, the "Frost Bites" and the "Apex Rathalos Emergency" Event Quests will be available in Monster Hunter Rise on December 31st at 12:00 AM GMT (December 30th at 4:00 PM PST).

The former will make them hunt the Lagombi, the Barioth, and the Goss Harag in the Frost Islands, which will reward them with the Orion Hunter Layered Armor Set, while the latter will require them to slay the Apex Rathalos at the Shrine Ruins.

Players who are under Hunter Rank 8 or above can take the "Blazin' Soul of a Warrior" and the "Apex Rathalos Emergency," while those who are under Hunter Rank 4 or above can take the "Challenge Quest 07" and the "Frost Bites" Event Quests.

To get these Event Quests, they must talk to Senri the Mailman on the said schedules. From there, they can download said quests for them to play and complete.

Aside from these new Event Quests, the Version 3.7 Update will also bring in two Special Buddies in the form of Yasu and the MHC Palamute, both of which will be available in the game December 24th at 12:00 AM GMT (December 23rd at 4:00 PM PST).

Bug Fixes

The Version 3.7 Update also brings in a list of fixes to several bugs that is affecting Monster Hunter Rise.

According to The Nerd Stash, the said version update fixed a bug that causes the settings of the targets to be different between the Host and the guests in the Training Area.

It also fixed a bug that causes some monsters to flinch only when being hit by a vent in the Lava Caverns or by a Blastoad instead of being downed.

It also fixed a bug that prevents players from being able to enter their tents if they change areas when they start Wyvern Riding, while it also fixed a bug that also prevents the item bar from being updated, and it fixed a bug that causes the Palico buddies to stop moving when performing the Giga Barrel Bombay.

It also fixed a bug that causes the gunlance to display its remaining bullets incorrectly when using the Ground Splitter, while it fixes a bug that causes an unintended guard if players are hit by a Plalamute's body slam and blunt hit combo while guarding.

It also fixed a bug that causes a time frame when they cannot dodge if they stop aiming with the bowgun, while it fixed a bug that causes discrepancy between the amount of ammo owned and the amount of ammo displayed for the bowgun under certain circumstances.

Finally, the version update also fixed other miscellaneous bugs, including a bug that prevents the number of the "Total Slain" on the second page of the Guild Card from being displayed correctly if the total number of monsters they have slain and captured reaches 99,999.
