'Genshin Impact' Version 2.4 Update Guide: What Other Things Players could Expect

miHoYo released the patch notes of the long-awaited Version 2.4 Update for Genshin Impact, which will bring in two new heroes in the form of Yun Jin and Shenhe, as well as a new region in Teyvat, the ancient yet mysterious underwater island of Enkanomiya.

Aside from these additions, the patch update also reveals other new details that will be added in the multiplayer online role-playing game, including new events, quests, in-game items, and other additions.

New Events, Story

One of the things that the Version 2.4 Update will bring in Genshin Impact is the new Daily Login Event called "May Fortune Find You," where according to Gematsu, players will receive rewards if they log in the game for seven days in total.

The said rewards include a total of eight Intertwined Fates, as well as 80,000 Mora, 18 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 8 Hero's Wit.

They will also receive Intertwined Fates in another in-game event, the "Flowing Lights and Colors," where according to the patch notes posted in the game's website, they will also receive other in-game items like Fragile Resins, food ingredients, Guides, and Sanctifying Unctions.

Aside from the new events, a new in-game story will be included in Genshin Impact, which includes a new Archon Quest line, "Interlude Chapter: Act I - 'The Crane Returns on the Wind'."

In order to take said quest, which will permanently available in the game once the version update rolls out, they need to complete first "Chapter I: Act III - 'A New Star Approaches'."

Along with the new Archon Quest line are the new Hangout Events for the new Main Story, the "Act I 'The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest'" for Ningguang and "Act I 'A Song that Knows Grace'" for Yun Jin.

In order to take these Hangout Events, they need to reach the Adventure Rank 28 or above, as well as they cleared the "Interlude Chapter: Act I - 'The Crane Returns on the Wind'"

Finally, new Commission Quests will be also added in the game, which will be unlocked once they have completed specific quests or fulfilling certain criteria such as reaching a required Adventure Rank.

New In-Game Additions

Aside from the new events and quest lines, the Version 2.4 Update update will also bring in new in-game items in Genshin Impact, such as the new Calamity Queller 5-Star polearm, which according to game8.co, it will be included in the Phase 1 of Epitome Invocation Event Wish Banner.

The said weapon, once equipped, can increase all Elemental Damage bonuses, as well as it can obtain Consummation after using an Elemental Skill. This effect can increase the wielder's Attack by a certain amount per second, stacking up to 6 Times. When the wielder is not in the battle field, the said increase is doubled.

New outfits will also be available in the game after Version 2.4 Update rolls out, including the new "Opulent Splendor" set for Keqing, which will be in the Character Outfit Shop for a limited time-only discounted price of 1,350 Genesis Crystals.

The "Orchid's Evening Gown" set for Ningguang, another new costume that will be included in Genshin Impact, will be available for free through the "Fleeting Colors in Flight" event, and it will be also available in the Character Outfit Shop after the event ends.

Other in-game additions that the version update will bring include new food recipes such as the Dragon Beard Noodles for the Wanmin Restaurant, Heartstring Noodles for Shenhe, Cloud-Shrouded Jade for Yun Jin, and Bountiful Year, which can be obtained during the "Fleeting Colors in Flight" event.

New furnishings such as the "Speedy Rhytm" Leisure Devie, "Euphonium Unbound: Soaring," and "Euphonium Unbound: Winding," as well as new Achievement categories and Name Cards will also be included in the game.
