Several reports revealed that FaZe Clan's Kalei Renay accused Activision of suspending her role as a captain of her Call of Duty team for the Twitter posts of her oversexualizing a mascot of M&M's chocolate candy.

The tweet in question revealed Kalei using sexual indications and language to Ms. Green, one of the anthropomorphic M&M candies that were used as mascots for the brand's commercials and ads.

Because of her Twitter post, according to Dexerto, the streamer was not allowed to become the captain of her team in a FaZe Clan-organized Call of Duty tournament.

She will also not be allowed to lead a team in other major tournaments such as the World Series of Warzone and the Call of Duty League.

According to Inside Sport, Kalei expressed in the now-deleted tweet her disappointment regarding the suspension, saying that the developers of the shooting game punished her for her tweets, but yet the company has a picture of someone's buttocks on their Twitter page.

The picture she is referring to is the one belonging to her fellow FaZe Clan member Kris "Swagg" Lamberson, who challenged himself to get a tattoo of Raven Software's logo on his right buttock if it rolled back their update for Call of Duty: Warzone.

He eventually had the logo tattooed on that part and posted a picture of it on his Twitter page. Raven Software finally used the picture as their profile avatar, but it was later deleted.

Kalei also added that even though the stunt made by Swagg and Raven Software was funny, it will not erase the fact that her hard work will be gone because of what she had posted on social media.

She also admitted that she even begged for her World Series of Warzone team's captain spot to her managers, but that opportunity was gone because of the suspension.

According to Ginx.tv, Activision has yet to issue a formal statement in response to Kalei's claims.

A representative of FaZe Clan, on the other hand, responded regarding the issue, saying that Kalei is unapologetically herself, and they love that fact about her.

They also admitted that her tweets are often considered to be inappropriate by others, but they will still support her as a member of the organization. They would never keep her from doing everything that any of their members could do.

As for Kalei, while waiting for Activision's response, she has focused her energy on streaming Apex Legends.

In her Tweet last Jan. 26, she wrote that she is still learning the ropes as she returns to the battle royale game after a year of absence. As of this writing, she is working towards the game's Diamond Rank.

In a post on Fox Eye's Twitter page, Kalei is one of the most-watched female battle royale streamers on Twitch as of January of this year, with a total of 116,000 hours on Apex Legends and 262,000 hours on Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific.
