EVO Parts Ways With Nintendo's 'Super Smash Bros'

Evolution Championship Series (EVO) confirmed puling Nintendo's Super Smash Bros from the roster of its 2022 game competition.

In a statement yesterday via Twitter, the official EVO Twitter account disclosed its riven relationship with Nintendo with a possible future comeback not held out of the equation.

EVO and Nintendo interacted with each other for almost two decades, Super Smash Bros games being well and alive since 2007.

With the real score unknown as the announcement happened with a simple photo, fans, audiences, and followers of both parties continued to speculate through several threads on the tweet.

However, it has been known that Nintendo had an upcoming partnership with Panda Global for the first officially pro circuit of Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Melee.

These points were what the followers connected in pursuit of the unsaid reason for the split.

It can also be brought up that EVO, particularly with players for its Super Smash Bros event, had quite a case history amassing over 50 sexual misconduct allegations.

Despite the long stable partnership between the two, this was indeed an end of an era for both EVO and Nintendo.

Super Smash Bro Ultimate Tournament

As planned way back less than a year ago, Nintendo eyed to launch its official championship tournament with Panda Global, according to GamesIndustry.biz.

The tournament will be hosted in North America, offering, as per Panda Global, a series of events with corresponding prizes in each of the players for Super Smash Bro titles.

In the midst of the ongoing pandemic, the qualifying matches will be done remotely to prevent issues and delays in context with what EVO experienced in its canceled event one time due to allegations.

Super Smash Bro Ultimate

Knowing the prevailing plans for the gaming entertainment giant Nintendo, know more about the game itself here.

Super Smash Bro Ultimate is a dueling game using Nintendo's well-known characters. Some of them are Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Browser, and many more totaling up to 74 characters.

The goal of the game is to eject your opponent out of a stage - so much for a nip-and-tuck affair - to gain points and ultimately the game; it is not game over already, though, with just one oust, the game has its knowledge around respawn too.

This, on the contrary, is not as simple as that. With over 100 stages, strategic planning drastically helps a player get into the winning column, not to mention the in-game items present and scattered in each stage.

This all the more reasoned out the official launching of the tournament, being the very beacon every Nintendo enthusiast ever needed to shine and take the spotlight.

To peruse the necessary preparations needed to ace that duel, players might want to visit Super Smash Bros' official site in previewing the Pokemons, an in-game ally to help the player oust its opponent and Assist Trophies to get help from characters using these trophies and even garner points just by defeating them.
