'Mobile Legends' Patch 1.6.66 Review: Are the Adjustments Yay or Nay?

"Mobile Legends" Patch 1.6.66 has arrived. But, will this new update offer some exciting or disappointing in-game adjustments?

Just like other updates, Moonton is offering a new skin for those who were able to reach Grandmaster and higher rank tiers. This new champion cosmetic is specifically the new Spirited Gaunlet Masha.

But, the actual features of the skin will be detailed in the next article. For now, let's talk about the game developer's hero adjustments and other enhancements in the latest Patch 1.6.66.

'ML' Patch 1.6.66 Hero Adjustments

One of the most exciting hero updates in 1.6.66 is the Guinevere buff. This fighter/mage champion received an update that allows her to knock up heroes even without her second skill landing on them.

All she needs to do is hit her enemy, and mark them three times in a row using her first and second skills. After that, she needs to use her ultimate near them so they'll be knocked up.

Aside from Guinevere, Wanwan is also buffed in the latest "Mobile Legends" update. The showoff ADR now has fewer target spots.

Recently she has four weak target spots, which makes her ultimate quite hard to use. Now, Moonton decided to lower it by only three marks. But, her increased damage duration was also decreased, from six seconds to five seconds.

Aside from these two, other heroes were also strengthened, such as the following:

  • Zhask (New passive creates a Nightmaric spawn, allowing him to finish off the enemy)
  • Ling (Ling's Tempest Blades now reduces his first skill's cooldown by up to four seconds)
  • Grock (Grock's second skill or Guardian's Barrier can no longer be blocked by Lolita's shield)

Battle Spells Adjustments and More

Heroes are not the only ones changed by Moonton. Battle spells are also adjusted in the latest patch 1.6.66. Here are the following changes:

  • Petrify (Moonton said that they want players to use this spell more often. To do that, the game developer decided to decrease the cooldown from 90 seconds to 75 seconds)
  • Sprint (Petrify is also another battle spell usually ignored by gamers. But, this might soon change as this Battle spell receives additional movements speed. Apart from that, the movement enhancement also doesn't decay, allowing you to escape enemies quickly)
  • Retribution (Unlike other battle spells, retribution seems to be nerfed since its power has been decreased to 10 physical attack and magic power. Recently, this stats was 15 physical attacks and magic power. However, you will have an additional 100 HP. Moonton explained that they want tank junglers to appear more in the game)

Final Thought

First, the new enhancement will Guinevere is quite fun, given that you can easily use your ultimate. However, it takes out the challenge of setting up a good AOE with your second skill.

But, it also allows you to have more advantages when it comes to one-on-one fights. Meanwhile, the enhancement made by Moonton with Wanwan is a great adjustment since her difficulty has been reduced. Let's hope that her three marks stay in the next patch.
