The highly anticipated Co-op mode for the survival life sim Medieval Dynasty is finally available on PC. However, those on consoles will have to wait until next year to get a hold of the feature.
Travel to Oxbow
The major highlight of Medieval Dynasty's most recent update is the new map: Oxbow. Here, players will be welcomed by the villagers but they are going to be assigned tasks to help around. Some of these assignments include building shelters, foraging for food, hunting animals, and so on.
Players can do the quests alone, but they also have the option of letting their friends in on the action thanks to the new Co-op Mode. Just to be clear, this new feature is only available for Steam players on PC at the moment. Furthermore, Co-op Mode is only possible in Oxbow, though it may be introduced to existing maps or new areas in the future.
Aside from that, players can now customize their avatars to their liking thanks to the addition of a bonafide Character Creator. Other features that are exclusive to Oxbow are:
New Storyline
New side quests
New generic quests
New flirting dialogue lines
New gifts for men
New 'Notice Board' quests in the main village in Oxbow
Playable female character
Female player's husband can take care of an infant
Ability to romance and marry men as a female character
Express Yourself
Although the Oxbow has plenty to offer, the recent update includes features that can be enjoyed throughout the game as well. One of the most notable is the new "chat" feature that lets players type custom messages to others. This can be accessed when pressing "Y" on the keyboard. It can also be found in the emote menu.
Speaking of which, Medieval Dynasty players can express themselves in a non-verbal way with the new emotes! Express love or hurt by selecting the appropriate options on the radial wheel.
