Hexworks is committed to bringing the best possible experience to all Lords of the Fallen players. As such, the company released a new patch that implemented over 35 tweaks to the game.

Rubberbanding Fixed?

Competitive players who engage in PvP combat often complained about this aspect of Lords of the Fallen. More specifically, players have been clamoring for the company to address the issue of rubberbanding.

Rubberbanding is the phenomenon in online games where players can visually see their characters move, except that they are actually just stuck in place. This is mostly because of latency or problems with the game's netcode.

That being said, there is a line in the patch notes for Update v.1.1.457 that says: "The overall experience now has less rubberbanding and should result in smoother gameplay overall." This refers to the improved multiplayer experience across all platforms, which encompasses both co-op and invasion.

Did the Lords of the Fallen development team finally address the issue? Only time will tell if this has really fixed rubberbanding in the game, particularly in PvP.

Highly Requested Feature Imminent

Hexworks announced that it is going to "pull the trigger" on a highly requested community feature, which will be available via an update next week. The company, however, did not disclose any specifics.

According to the game's roadmap, this upcoming feature could be a new set of spells that players can utilize in battle or the expansion of the inventory stash space. Whatever it is, hopefully, it will be something very useful.
