Blizzard Entertainment has officially introduced the Warlock class to the Diablo franchise, expanding the roster of playable characters. For elemental users, this is the time to showcase your mastery in dark magic.
Gamers can now wield this dark sorcerer in "Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred," "Diablo Immortal," and "Diablo II: Resurrected" through the new Reign of the Warlock DLC.
Warlock Arrives in 'Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred' Expansion
The upcoming "Lord of Hatred" expansion for "Diablo IV" will add the Warlock alongside the previously revealed Paladin.
Launching on April 28 with a price of $49.99, preorders grant instant access to the Paladin and early access to the Warlock on day one. Blizzard released a cinematic trailer highlighting the Warlock as a dark, versatile mage, steeped in forbidden magic and occult knowledge.
'Diablo II: Resurrected' Gets Reign of the Warlock DLC
For fans of the classic "Diablo II," the "Reign of the Warlock" DLC is available starting today. Players can purchase it individually for $24.99 on Battle.net, or as part of the Infernal Edition bundle for $39.99 on Battle.net and Steam. This DLC allows players to explore dark arts and arcane powers in Diablo II's iconic dungeon-crawling experience.
Master of Dark Magic
According to GameInformer, Blizzard describes the Warlock as a master of dark magic, forbidden rites, and knowledge the world refuses to understand. Forged by betrayal and driven by survival, these sorcerers can handle any threat in their path.
No one still knows the true power that lies behind Warlock's mysterious appearance, but for sure, players now anticipate its contribution in the dungeons. The dark magic is a long-range burst that can kill any opponents at a striking distance. Of course, the trade-off might be its low armor and HP.
