Insomniac Games may already have something for the third game in its "Marvel's Spider-Man" mainline series as a teaser from the actor playing Peter Parker has sent fans raving online.
'Marvel's Spider-Man 3' Teased by Peter Parker Actor
"Marvel's Spider-Man 3" may be closer than fans think as a now-deleted post from Ben Jordan, who played as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the series, shared a new photo that shows off a facial capture work on Instagram.
Fans were able to take a screenshot of the post before it was taken down, and it was shared across social media platforms.
Jordan shared a comment on his Instagram post with the message "IYKYK" alongside a spider emoji. Fans were able to put two and two together to speculate that Jordan's facial capture work is for a game in the "Marvel's Spider-Man" franchise with Insomniac.
According to ComicBook Gaming's report, a sequel in the franchise "was never in question" as it was expected that a new game in the mainline series is going to be demanded by those in charge at PlayStation.

'Marvel's Spider-Man 3' Production Expected to Start Soon
New characters and a potential villain for this threequel were hinted at heavily in the final moments of the previous game, setting up "Marvel's Spider-Man 3" and the future of the franchise.
The teaser from Jordan made it known that Insomniac is at the very least in pre-production on the game and will likely shift to full production after the release of "Marvel's Wolverine," according to ComicBook Gaming.
"Marvel's Wolverine" already has a release date for its arrival on the PS5, which will happen in the fall.
Insomniac Games is expected to circle back to the series and create "Marvel's Spider-Man 3," but in this timeline, it is already expected to arrive for the PlayStation 6.
