Rockstar Games may finally be preparing to reveal the next major look at "Grand Theft Auto 6", with new reports suggesting Trailer 3 could arrive as early as May 2026.
After months of silence and growing concern over another potential delay, fans now have renewed confidence that the highly anticipated open-world title remains on track for its November 19 launch date.
Rockstar Reportedly Confident In GTA 6 Release Date

Speculation surrounding "GTA 6's" release timeline has dominated gaming discussions for months. While publisher Take-Two Interactive previously assured players that development was progressing on schedule, many fans remained skeptical due to Rockstar's limited communication.
However, insiders referenced by the GTAVIoclock podcast claim Rockstar is now firmly committed to the November 19 release window.
According to reports circulating online spotted by Gaming Bible, no additional delays are currently expected internally.
That update alone has revived the excitement throughout the gaming community, but it may also signal that Rockstar's larger marketing campaign is about to begin.
'GTA 6' Trailer 3 Could Finally Reveal Gameplay
The first two "GTA 6" trailers focused heavily on atmosphere, characters, and the game's massive Vice City-inspired setting.
Players received cinematic glimpses of protagonists, Jason and Lucia, while also seeing beaches, nightlife, highways, swamps, and chaotic urban environments rendered in impressive detail.
What Rockstar still has not revealed is extensive gameplay footage.
That is why Trailer 3 is expected to become the most important reveal so far. Fans anticipate the next trailer will finally showcase gameplay systems, combat mechanics, player interactions, and the game's rumored dynamic open-world features.
Previous leaks and industry rumors suggested Rockstar planned to launch its major promotional push in May 2026. With the release date reportedly stable, many players now believe Trailer 3 will officially begin that campaign.

Preorders May Launch Alongside The New Trailer
Another reason fans are closely watching May is Take-Two's upcoming earnings call scheduled for May 21. Industry observers believe Rockstar could release new promotional material shortly before the event.
Many players also expect "GTA 6" preorders to open immediately following the release of Trailer 3. If that happens, it would officially begin what could become one of the largest entertainment launches in gaming history.
Earlier this month, PlayerOne reported that a new "GTA 6" leak hinted at a massive NPC dialogue system. This would open doors for more storytelling, making it the most immersive open-world game to exist.
