Bran And Hodor Return To Game Of Thrones In 2015 As New Collectible Figure From Dark Horse; Put Brodor On Your Wall This April

Bran And Hodor Return To Game Of Thrones In 2015...As New Collectible Figure From Dark Horse!

Over Comic Con weekend, as exhausting an event as any conceived by the likes of the First Men and the Current Men, Dark Horse revealed the next in their expanding line of Game of Thrones collectible figures: Bran and Hodor.

Final Fantasy XIV Game Of The Year Box Launching In November

Well, to be more specific: Hodor carrying Bran, as is the custom for the show. That's two figures for the price of one! All the details from the series are captured, and the exacting paint application conveys the subtleties of character likeness and costume. The figurine measures over nine inches tall, keeping the size proportions of previous releases in the line.

Due for release in April of next year, Bran and Hodor (Brodor? is that the proper portmanteau?) will be the only 'good' characters to get the model treatment from Dark Horse. Tywin Lannister, Joffrey and Littlefingers; two of whom are dead and the other as shady a dealer as ever put on television are the others being released at the same time.

"We have been floored by the response to these figures," Dark Horse Product Development head David Scroggy noted, "and this one is our most ambitious yet."

One kind of hopes that they added a soundbox to the figure that just says 'Hodor' whenever touched. Might ruin the mystique a little.

This will be some of the only Bran and Hodor coming to us in 2015. The characters effectively ended their arc last season, having reached the end of their story from the novels and will not be appearing in the fifth season of HBO's drama. Thankfully, given the nature of their absence, we won't notice any longer that Bran will be just as tall as Hodor when Game of Thrones returns for its sixth season.

The Brodor figure will retail at the suggested price of $39.99.
