Dicetiny The Lord Of The Dice iOS And Android Version Coming In 2015; New Trailer Shows Off Gameplay And Humor

Dicetiny: The Lord Of The Dice Announced For iOS And Android; Why Isn't This An Actual Board Game?

Fake Dice has released a new trailer for their upcoming dice and card game Dicetiny, a game that might just make your 2015 Christmas wishlist.

Kickstart THIS! Morningstar, A 21st RPG Management System For Phones And Tablets

The game was partially funded by Kickstarter, where it achieved Staff Pick status before finding funding from an investment company. Despite the investment, Fake Dice will try to maintain as much control of the finished product as they can. Nor do they not want the 500+ backers to forsake them; they want to hear your support!

The game itself has its tongue firmly planted in cheek. It borrows heavily from the tropes established by the Lord of the Rings and other fantasy settings and presents them in a humorous manner. The game exists in the world of Middle Board, where players and monsters roam around the outer edge and save peasants, battle and gain treasure.

The gameplay itself is simple and mixes card games, dice and RPGs into one seemingly easy to use package. You roll a dice, you move, then you encounter something - a monster, a treasure, a boss. You can use your cards to help with what life throws at you.

The game is a four player co-op title, so grab your friends and go out adventuring together. Single player will also be supported.

I’m excited to play the Android and iOS version (coming in 2015), but looking at Dicetiny, I’m just dying for it to come to an actual board game. Fake Dice was offering up a lot of real world rewards, such as dice and characters, but I want the game! If I ask Santa real nice, would you make it so?
