“Fishing Superstars” makes you feel like a REEL fisher

GAMEVIL is a leading mobile games publisher and developer and they have recently announced the release of their new game, Fishing Superstars, where players can expect to (you guessed it) fish!

Fishing Superstars  allows the player to take part in competitive fishing. You must select an avatar and mimick the actual movements made when fishing. For example, when casting a line, users flick their phones forward and flick backwards once a fish has caught the bait. The sensitive controls and responsive mechanism vibrates as players reel in the fish, which will make for a realistic feel.

Players have the opportunity to unlick fishing locations, when certain levels are reached. Fish are ranked based on difficulty of catch and rarity. Players can choose to sell them or keep them in the player's aquarium to feed and level up.

The game also takes a spin on traditional sports games by integrating a social aspect through an inline server along with Facebook and Twitter integration.

"We are excited to introduce Fishing Superstars to the Google Play because I feel it fits the best of two worlds- a sports game that is fun with a social aspect that makes it competitive," stated Kyu C. Lee VP and Head of GAMEVIL USA, INC in a press release. "Fishing Superstars will also be one of the first titles GAMEVIL will run as a service in the global market."

Fishing Superstars will be released this summer.
