The weekly GOG.com sale has gone into effect today and they're inviting you to get back to your gaming FUNdamentals with twenty titles, several of which are absolutely must haves for any collection.

Spirits Of Xanadu Review: In Space, No Can Hear You Plead (SPOILERS)

You can find the full list HERE. The most expensive title will cost you $5.99, and all told the whole set of 20 will run you about $45, which saves you over $100 if you had bought them separately.

However, we're here to help you save even more money. Forget most of them - they're all fine examples of their respective genres. There are five must have games, and one game that honestly should come mandatory on all future computers and consoles.

Our Life Is Strange Film/TV Casting Wishlist, If And When That Ever Happens

Stick with us, kid, you can't go wrong with the following...

System Shock 2 - Ken Levine's award winning 1999 sci-fi FPS adventure set the high watermark for the burgeoning genre. It took everything that came before - the Quest series, Lucasarts entire catalogue - and helped pave the way for a more mature, intelligent and darker first person shooter. Without this, we would never have Bioshock, one of the great trilogies of the modern era. Now only $2.99

Psychonauts - this 3rd person adventure game is one of the underappreciated classics from the mind of Tim Schafer. A game whose fun gameplay is rivaled - if not surpassed - by its wonderful characters and script. A must have for fans who don't think games have to be 'grim' to be fun. $2.99 Check out our full retrospective.

Enclave - a surprisingly fun hack and slash game from 2002. Don't let it's polygons fool you, there's a lot to love here and for $1.79, what do you have to lose really?

Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) - a third person action title, or better yet, one of the first 'interactive films' from back in 2005, Indigo Prophecy has you on the hunt for the supernatural spirits who are possessing people and forcing them to murder strangers. Don't you want to find the truth? It can be yours for only $2.99

Two Worlds - this hack and slash title is proof positive that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover (or its opening sequence). A pretty standard fantasy yarn is elevated by some solid gameplay choices and damn good pacing, and it certainly helped influence the Divinity series; of which Original Sin was one of the best titles from last year. Give it a whirl, it's $2.99.

I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream - this 1995 adventure, based on the seminal story by legendary author Harlan Ellison (who also contributed to the game) helped set the stage for point and click adventure games with a grim and dreadful edge to them for decades to come. Though there is violence, it is the moral quandaries and the consequences of your actions against the rogue computer AM that will keep you awake at night, softly screaming. $1.99

Head on over to GOG to pick up these (and be sure to check out the others while you're there)! The deals won't last forever.
