Return To Spira In The Latest Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster Trailer

Nobody ever lost money repurposing their old material and slapping a new HD remaster on it. Especially Square Enix who play both the nostalgia and 'new and shiny' card with the latest Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster trailer that begs you to return to a simpler time...the early to mid-2000s.

The game set will feature both titles, fully optimized for enhanced play and comes with the two minor expansion packs, Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, each originally exclusive to the Japanese market. That's over 200 hours of Spira based action, adventure and costumes (oh so many costumes).

But at the very least, you should have Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Square Enix's other FF remaster, finished with by the time X / X-2 hit shelves on May 12.

X was the last Final Fantasy game I completed and the experience is up there in my gaming history. The characters are wonderful - I still think Auron is one of my favorite characters of all time - the gameplay and advancement system top notch and the storyline definitely spoke to 20-something year old me. I wonder if it would have the same effect nowadays.
