‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Release Date, News & Update: More Disney Icons Expected At E3 2016! Things You Need To Know

One of the highly anticipated games to draw a lot of attention at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 is “Kingdom Hearts 3” from Square Enix. Gamers will be eager to find out when the game will be out as well as the new goodies it will carry.

The belief right now is that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will add new characters and world s will be announced at E3 2016. While it was already announced that the game would offer “Big Hero 6," there could be more in store considering Disney has a wide slate of possible environments to offer.

There are 5 possible game worlds that could be announced per Design and Trend. The list includes “Toy Story," “Zootopia," “Marvel," “Star Wars” and “Frozen." The mentioned worlds are of course unofficial though having them as part of “Kingdom Hearts 3” could be something.

Aside from the unconfirmed worlds, there is the issue on new characters that could be popping up for “Kingdom Hearts 3”. Parent Herald mentioned “Star Wars’” “Darth Vader, “Frozen’s” “Elsa” and “Avengers’” Iron Man as possible add-ons as teased by Square Enix new hire Eric Johnson.

Tied up to that are the new characters that could be added to the character roster.

All these rumors could change by the time E3 2016 comes around so take it all as a grain of salt for now. But other than the new features, there is the matter of when the game will be released.

The word on that is that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be out by April, 2017, something that was arrived at following the financial report of Square Enix.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” is something that will offer versions for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One. Most of the rumors roaming right now are bound to be confirmed (or shot down) when E3 2016 unfurls on June 14, 2016. For the meantime, check out the trailer below.
