'Destiny: Rise Of Iron' Release Date, News & Update: DLC Leaks! Iron Gjallarhorn Revealed!

It seemed fans don't have to wait for Bungie's official announcement of "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC as the details of the upcoming expansion were already revealed with three major leaks.

Three Separate Leaks

According to Metro News, the first leak happened on Bungie's own website. The site accidentally revealed "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC release date, which will be on Sept. 20.

The second one was on Xbox's site that revealed the expansion pack's synopsis, while the last one was the trailer of "Destiny: Rise of Iron" uploaded on Snapchat.

'Destiny: Rise Of Iron' DLC Gameplay

As per NDTV Gadgets360, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is the most awaited expansion pack for the game.

"The wall which stood for centuries along the southern border of Old Russia has collapsed," the "Destiny: Rise of Iron" description read. "Fallen mutants now scavenge the tombs of the Golden Age, and the plague they have unearthed in the wastes is more dangerous than even they understand."

It looks like Lord Saladin is up with a new quest in the Plaguelands as "Destiny: Rise of Iron" has new story campaigns, armors, gears, weapons, raid, places, social space, mode and maps, enemies, bosses and maximum light level.

The Iron Gjallarhorn

Additionally, the revealed "Destiny: Rise of Iron" trailer on Snapchat gave a glimpse of the weapon, Iron Gjallarhorn.

The avid fans of "Destiny" are dying to get the hold of this rocket launcher for its overpower ability. Fortunately, they don't have to go to see Xûr and visit the tower to have the fire gun, as per The Verge.

The "Destiny" players who will buy "Destiny: Rise of Iron" expansion pack via pre-order will have the privilege to get Iron Gjallarhorn for free.

However, it is not yet disclosed if "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC will be available on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

What for sure is Bungie will officialy announce "Destiny: Rise of Iron" and give further details at the coming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 in Los Angeles Convention Center.
