Before we head on to the news of the iPhone 7 release date, it is also worth remembering that it might not be even a plain iPhone 7 we're expecting, but the iPhone 7 Pro that has been rumored.

According to MacRumors, the possibility of Apple dropping the standard number code in their previous releases may finally come to life. But of course, nothing has been confirmed by the giant tech company. If Apple on the other hand retains their numbered series as they used to, of course, people will expect the typical "iPhone 7" and "iPhone 7 Plus" labels to arrive this year.

Now, for the iPhone 7 release date, rumors suggest that it might be in the fall of 2016. Also, looking through the pattern on when Apple released their previous units, they usually came at the later quarter of the year.

As for the the physical appearance of the iPhone 7, you can bet for a change in appearance. It may not be drastic, but it will have some sort of endearing looks that will attract consumers, after all, it's one of the most compelling reasons by consumers buy Apple products.

Some information about the iPhone 7 specs include the retention of the 4.7 to 5.5-inch screen sizes. If you have been perfectly ok with the thickness of the iPhone 6, this time, that part of the iPhone 7 might be compromise and may still work on getting it thinner than ever at minimal 1mm less in thickness; thanks to the removal of the headphone jack.

That being said, expect the next-gen iPhone 7 to relinquish the idea of a headphone jack and use the bluetooth headphones instead. Aside from the smart connector that was also rumored to have been included in unit, the iPhone 7 will likely have a 2GB of RAM fully equipped with a 2-3x optical zoom cameras in low light conditions.
