Theo James, 31, maybe the next James Bond, but that doesn't mean he can everything. Rumor is that, he and his girlfriend Ruth Kearney, 27, are supposed to get married until Hollywood put a stop to their plans.
Apparently, it was their respective schedules that made it impossible for them marry and build a whole new family. But while both Theo and Ruth admitted having limited time for each other that they can't seem to push through with their wedding, some speculated that it's because of James' Divergent co-star Shailene Woodley.
James and Kearney however, denied those rumors saying, it's one of the reasons they did not want to subject themselves to social media. Kearney jokingly said "I'm not interested in reading reviews, I'm more interested in normal people watching it and their reaction. I don't really do [social media] myself." Theo James seconded Kearney saying, he'd rather have a low profile life in Hollywood thus, he avoids the social media frenzy as well.
Theo James recently signed for a new show entitled "Flaked." He is also the co-star of Shailene Woodley on the "Divergent" series and now, the rumored James Bond stint. His girlfriend Ruth Kearney on the hand said, she prefers to choose her roles carefully and avoids signing contracts just to gain popularity. She appreciates roles that will make her grow and learn during the process.
Theo James was among the three actors that were shortlisted in choosing the next James Bond. Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba were also candidates for the role.
