Do you ever wonder what goes through the minds of your pets? What exactly they feel when you're around and how do they spend the day when you're not? Director Chris Renaud's "The Secret Life of Pets" might just be the perfect movie that tells exactly how pets behave wherever they are. The funny things is, they might just have the same, exact situation as their humans, but not in a way you think of it.
In "The Secret Life of Pets", Renaud gives life to the fun, quirky and emotional life of pets. For humans, they're mostly a bunch of cuddly, loving but equally demanding pets. But in The Secret Life of Pets, it's something very different. Starring Louis C.K. as Max, Eric Stonestreet as Duke, Kevin Hart as Snowball, Steve Coogan as Ozone and Ellie Kemper as Katie, "The Secret Life of Pets" tells the story of a young Jack Russell Terrier named Max who disapproves of the reckless and inconsiderate Duke (Eric Stonestreet) who was adopted by his owner.
Through their journey together, Max made clear of his dislike of Duke and when circumstances forced them to work together in order to return to their master alive, Max learned something about Duke that will change the way he look at him.
After series of being held by the Animal Control, escaping them and being held again, it was time for Max and Duke's troop to rally and bring them back to where they truly belong.
Produced by illumination Entertainment and written by Cinco Paul, Brian Lynch and Ken Daurio, 'The Secret Life of Pets' premiered in Annecy on June 16, 2016. A theatrical release in the United States was scheduled on July 8, 2016. 'The Secret Life of Pets' grossed to $30 million in its worldwide release.
