‘Fallout 4’ News & Update: Fallout 4's 1.7 Patch Notes is Live; Bethesda Confirms August Release of Nuka-World DLC

"Fallout 4" Nuka-World DLC is going to be the final expansion update for the favorite action RPG game so fans are really waiting for it. The content is expected to arrive before August ends.

But prior to the release of the much-awaited downloadable content, Bethesda Softworks laid out patch 1.7. This update does not only contain fixes for bugs and mods but it also carries support elements for the upcoming Nuka-World DLC.

PC players of "Fallout 4" can now download the 1.7 update which was issued on Aug. 2 via Steam Community. Some of the latest patch notes for fixes include general optimization and improvements in stability, Vendors can now supply big shipments of wood, rubber, copper, steel and ceramic, the problem where add-on objects cannot be stored or thrown out has been corrected, the unusual problem where Mama Murphy and Sturges suddenly freeze has been fixed and the issue regarding "Quartermastery" sending out players to wrong locations has been put in order.

For the Mods fixes, here are a few examples: Disable All Mods is now working properly when offline, minor UI improvements to Mods menu and Mods Detail menus. Localization strings moved to interface archive, fixed animation error related to NPCs changed in Mods who have died and reloading the save without the Mod activated.

In addition, Bethesda also unveiled the latest "Fallout 4" Vault-Tec Workshop update for Xbox One and PC. This should provide support and solve the issues that have been hampering the smooth performance of the Vault-Tec Workshop expansion.

Incidentally, an update for PS4 has yet to be released. PS4 users have been waiting for the arrival of the new modding action for their console since Xbox One users have already been enjoying the same content for some time now. Commenting on this matter, Fallout tweeted, "We're working w/ Sony on Fallout 4 Mod support for PS4. The process is still under evaluation."

Finally, Bethesda said that the PS version of the update for "Fallout 4" has already been forwarded to Sony so it likely that it will be released soon. Once the update arrives, PS4 users will be able to remove add-ons without the need to uninstall the game.
