‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Medicinal Green Herbs Teased

“Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” continues to ramp up the excitement with more leaks on what to expect for the said game. The latest hype tied up to the game has something to do with the tease involving ‘green herbs’.

Spotted from NeoGAF, the healing items could pass for that controversial marijuana plant that most may have been reading these days. They do offer some medicinal purpose but the ones spotted for “Resident Evil 7” are obviously of a different kind.

The Green Herbs are perfectly legal

Regardless, these healing items are one of the many new features expected for “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard”. Adding some spice was a coin spotted along with the green herbs, suggesting that this will likely be one of the new items for the game. It will likely be available from the game vendors though Capcom has yet to confirm.

Delving more on the image, critics have taken shots at the out-of-date shots. Considering the game setting and the fact that they carry some needed healing power, credit most to the presentation to the development team.

The spotted photo does look deceiving in a way. Will it cost a lot or a means to earn cash on “Resident Evil 7”? With the need to heal in the game, the green herb is expected to be an important part of a player’s inventory.

VR will not compromise gameplay

The green herb spotting is the latest update following a previous post covering the VR side of “Resident Evil 7”. More of that can be read here.

Further, an interview by GameSpot with game producer Masachika Kawata reveals that “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” will focus more on gun-play, using the PlayStation VR from start to end.

“Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” is expected to come out by January 24, 2017 with game versions for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
