'Injustice 2' Latest News & Update: Harley Quinn Returns with Deadshot as Latest Addition; Character Costumes Inspired by 'Suicide Squad' film

"Injustice 2" has unleashed another series of characters to the roster. Both characters have equally appealing reputation in the DC universe, and with it, Ed Boon's title officially welcomes the acquisitions.

As the up and coming NetherRealm title "Injustice 2" has already shown the world some of the characters in the past number of months, two more iconic characters have been announced. A new trailer for both Harley Quinn and Deadshot was published online and both renditions look marvelous.

According to University Herald, the newest "Injustice 2" trailer highlighted Harleen Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn. One of the two newly announced characters in the roster, Harley Quinn's arsenal brings back some of the favorites that all-time fans know the loony female for.

Harley Quinn dons her huge mallet once again for "Injustice 2," with other formidable weapons such as dual pistols and even her popular Hyena duo. Both the canine companions of Harley Quinn are given colored hair that adds quite the radical touch to the jester-ish villainess that owns a unique moveset.

In the same manner, as per Digital Spy, Floyd Lawton, also known as Deadshot, shares the spotlight as he makes his fierce appearance in "Injustice 2." As some comic book fans may know, Deadshot is one of DC's most recognized characters with his signature monocle, built-in gauntlet guns and incomparable precision.

Fans that played the first title in the series may see that "injustice 2" brings the move set of Deathstroke to Deadshot with a few tweaks. As for the outfits of both characters, it was an arguably obvious factor that the characters took inspiration from the aired "Suicide Squad" film as some resemblances were spotted while retaining the essence of the originals.

Being two of Batman's most recognized antagonists, fans have admitted being excited over the addition of the aforementioned characters to "Injustice 2." Keep it locked for more gaming news.
