‘No Man’s Sky’ News & Updates: Hello Games Releases Patch Notes for PC; Update 1.05 for PS4 is Out!

"No Man's Sky" had a rough start as complaints steadily poured in after it was released two weeks ago. Because of this, the Hello Games team got really busy and worked round-the-clock to give the necessary fixes for the game.

Just this weekend, the game developer was able to release two new patch notes and the team announced that they are now preparing to release the next update which is a major one. However, despite the release of the latest "No Man's Sky" patches, Hello Games admitted that there are still bugs that were not fixed, but about 70 percent of the reported issues should have already been resolved.

On Steam, Hello Games highlighted a few of the crash fixes that have already addressed through the updates. As posted, "No Man's Sky" should not crash anymore under the following circumstances: after warping, during scanning or when warping inside a freighter and when stuck inside a planet.

Meanwhile, the game developer revealed that the first three patch notes were created based on the feedback, comments and support requests posted on various platforms like Reddit, Steam and GoG so most of the issues have been targeted. The updates are for the PC version only so Hello Games recently released patch 1.05 to provide improvements for the PS4 version too.

The patch for PS4 is quite small compared to the others, only 35 MB, but it is supposed to be enough to repair the flaws in "No Man's Sky." And although this patch is already out, the exact details of the fixes that it provides have yet to be listed and explained by Hello Games.

For now, since the details about the "No Man's Sky" 1.05 update are not yet available, players who already downloaded the 1.05 update are trying to guess what have changed in the gameplay. Some said that they noticed less crashes while others noted that the problem with saving the game has been fixed as well. While these may really be included in the intended fixes for PS4, Hello Games still have to confirm whether these observations are correct or not.

Stay tuned for new updates from Hello Games!
