The character of the 45-year-old star will be no longer seen in the coming "Wentworth" Season 5; although viewers of the show openly express their hopes that she will be back to life.

To recall, Bea has been stabbed by Joan "The Freak" Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) with a screwdriver repeatedly that caused her death in "Wentworth" Season 4 Episode 12 "Seeing Red." However, aside from the lead star's downfall, fans were also shocked to see that Allie (Kate Jenkinson) came back alive.
Fans are hoping that Bea will have the same fate like Allie, but executive producer Jo Porter earlier confirmed that Danielle Cormack will no longer reprise her role in "Wentworth" Season 5. "It is always an incredibly difficult decision to say farewell to a much-loved and revered character like Bea Smith," she explained, as per News.com.au.
