‘Yoshi’s Wooly World’ Latest News & Update: Confirmed for the 3DS Platform

"Yoshi's Wooly World" is making a jump on the portable platform, Nintendo confirms. Accordingly, the 3DS version of the game will feature the same levels as its console version with few additional features like the Poochy amiibo made of yarn.

The portable version of "Yoshi's Wooly World" will also get a new set of levels that will feature the Poochy, the wooly dog. Players will be able to use poochy pups in searching clues for each level. The new version is now called "Poochy and Yoshi's Wooly World."

According to IGN, the announcement came during the Nintendo Direct wherein, the company announced the arrival of "Yoshi's Wooly World" on 3DS on February 3, 2017. The additional Poochy amiibo that will be available on the same date as the "Yoshi's Wooly World" release date. The amiibo, according to The Verge is scannable. Players will the Poochy amiibo on the 3DS platform and a second Yoshi will appear to guide them in the playthrough.

"Yoshi's Wooly World" tells the story of two yarns who escaped the evil Magikoopa Kamek and avoid being turned into bundle of yarns. As their fellow Yarn Yoshis become entangled in the knitted island and in different parts of the world, the two yarns set journey to find Kamek, in hopes of saving their fellow wooly friends

The game puts players in the role of Yoshi. Yoshi will then pass through several levels in order to free its fellow wooly yarns. As the level increases, Yoshi will be able to find sources that will help him beat enemies. Yoshi can swallow an enemy and it will produce him a ball of yarn.
