Telltale' episodic video game, The Walking Dead: The Game just wrapped up its first season with episode five. The game was originally only available through digital download for iOS, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
But the game will now see an exclusive GameStop retail release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The retail release will be available on Dec. 11 after being pushed back an additional week, according to GameStop owned Game Informer.
According to the article, there will be two sets of Telltales game: "A standard $29.99 collection, and a $69.99 collector's edition that comes packaged with The Walking Dead: Compendium One, a hefty book that collects the first 48-issues of the comic series."
Telltale says, "Episodes on the discs will also be fully compatible with previous episodes that players may have already downloaded from Xbox Liveor PlayStation Network, allowing players to continue from where they may have left off on the download version."
The good news is because of the delay fans of the The Walking Dead still have a chance to get the collector's edition, which is only available through pre-order at GameStop.
