'Destiny: Rise of Iron' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Weapon Balance Changes & Patch Notes Revealed, Trespasser Now Available

Bungie's fourth expansion for the first-person shooter, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is arriving in 10 days and fans should get excited because the studio has released a new treat. A new large update has arrived to the game and with it is some serious weapon balance changes and the amazing weapon called Trespasser.

According to Forbes, the new update is 12GB large and will make way for the September 20 arrival of "Destiny: Rise of Iron." It contains several weapon balance changes and a new exotic weapon called Trespasser. The Tresspasser is a burst-first sidearm that gives the player a bigger, longer burst on the second time it is fired.

Aside from the amazing burst effects, the Trespasser also features "Destiny: Rise of Iron"'s new "ornament" system wherein players can get to choose the weapon's skins. They're currently not usable until the expansion arrives this 20th, but there will be a a Fallen-based skin and a Crucible-themed skin.

Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that Bungie has released the patch notes for the massive 12GB update that will pave the way for "Destiny: Rise of Iron." It contains some weapon balance changes that will definitely affect the way the player plays the game. For one, the Fabian Strategy's base range is now 16% stronger and 44% more stable. Thorn on the other hand has a decreased base of 25%.

Ahead of "Destiny: Rise of Iron," Bungie has also made some weapon balance changes that include a reduced damage from the mid-high impact group, which is now 6.95% less. Check out the patch notes over at Bungie's official websiteBungie's developers also released a statement ahead of the arrival of "Destiny: Rise of Iron," saying that they learn from both their successes and failures, from which they move forward in creating expansions and improvements on the game. They said that the goal this time was not just to eliminate old weapons but to create new ones to fill the needs of gamers.

"Destiny: Rise of Iron" arrives on September 20 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
