Capcom announced the release date and specifications for the PC version of Resident Evil 6. The game will be available as a digital download in North America on March 22, 2013. European PC gamers will be able to get both the digital and retail versions of the game on the same day.
According to Capcom, both the digital and retail versions of Resident Evil 6 PC will feature all of the content found in the console version plus it contains additional content such as Ada Wong's campaign and the No Hope difficulty setting.
The digital version will support Steam features like Cloud saving, Steam Achievements, Friends support, Game overlay and Leader boards.

- Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
- Memory: 2 GB RAM

- Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better
- DirectX®: 9.0c or greater
- Sound: Standard audio device

Capcom also announced a second update for the console version of Resident Evil 6 that will be available on Jan. 22, 2013. Here is what the second update will include:
Agent Hunt Mode
Available without having to complete a campaign
Selectable criteria for joining a session
Stage selection
Region selection
Players can determine whether to join a session based on campaign player's settings such as infinite ammo or friendly fire setting
Stage selection
Individual stages within chapters can be accessed at any time once completed
General
QTE assist
QTE assist is currently part of the Amateur difficulty level, and automatically completes QTEs for the player. With this update, players can optionally activate QTE assist on any difficulty level.
Adjustments
Some sections of the game have had their difficulty adjusted to provide an improved experience
Lastly, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 6 would be available as a digital download on Xbox Live this holiday season.
Resident Evil 6 released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 2, 2012. The story is told from the perspectives of three separate protagonists: Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and Jake Muller, illegitimate son of Albert Wesker.
