Here is a list of key feature for the expansion from Bioware:

Bioware has not released too many details about the new expansion but one thing is for sure, there will be no boxed retail release of the expansion. The add-on will cost subscribers $9.99 and free-to-play player will have to fork over $19.99. It is already available for preorder on the game's website.

Those gamers who pre-order by Jan. 7 will receive five days of early access to the expansion when it eventually goes live. Those gamers will also get preferred status for making the purchase.

Star Wars: the Old Republic recently became a free-to-play title with some restriction and received a new update last week that introduced gamers to a new warzone called the Ancient Hypergate. You can read more about the update here.
