Michael Scofield is alive and ready to kick his way out in the anticipated "Prison Break" season 5 revival of Wentworth Miller's character. Executive producer Vaun Wilmott himself teased the main storyline which will focus on Michael's solitude in timeline connecting season 4 to 5.
So far, the major lead about the plot of "Prison Break" season 5 is Wilmott's Twitter post. It says that the series is back and Michael is looking for his way out of incarceration. Wilmott's photo was taken on the set while the crew are shooting a scene where Michael is trying to find a way out of lock-up facility. Apart from the confirmation that there is a 5th installment, the post ended the debate if Michael survived or died in season 4.
Now since Michael is in a desert prison, "Prison Break" season 5 will humanize his character through tough challenges and hardships he will face. He will need his brother Lincoln Burrows and other allies to help him escape. There will be a slow build up at first considering that everybody presumed Michael is dead. Sources said that seven long years passed in Michael's life since the events in season 4 up to the continuity in season 5.
Considering the time-lapse to "Prison Break" season 5, Michael became a dark figure. There will be gradual build-up to his former self as family and friends discover that he is alive. Some are hinting than even his brother Lincoln have turned into a dark character as well. There is a debate though if this is because of knowing that Michael is alive and suffered solitude in a long span, News Everyday reported.
Now to complete the whole process, Michael's wife Sara Tancredi will ultimately know that her husband is alive. And the twist? This is going to happen when she already has a new love interest. Fans can start to take a guess from here on what will happen after Michael finally broke out of his cell.
Here is a little thought about the premiere date of "Prison Break" season 5. Neither Wilmott nor Fox have given tentative schedule yet. However, most agree that end of March next year is a safe guess.
