'Skyrim' Goes Tropical with New Mod

I don't care if you're a snow elf, or a fur covered Khajiit, "Skyrim" is friggin' cold, and after a winter that apparently started in October here on the east coast, I'm sick and tired of the cold.

Modder Sulie longed for the same sort of virtual warmth, so he did something about. Enter "Tropical Skyrim - A Climate Overhaul," a mod that strips away all the ice and snow that Skyrim seemed forever sheathed beneath, replacing it with lush vegetation and a climate belonging a few degrees south of Nirn's equator.

The mod is more than just a change to the environment. Sulie went so far as to exchange some of Skyrim's fauna with those seen in more, shall we say, accomodating environments. Bears were swapped for pandas, apes take the place of trolls, etc. Replace all the nord mead with some bahama mamas served in a hollowed out dragon skull, throw some bikinis on the hagravens, and you're in business. Sulie even made changes to various bits of armor, weather, and the buildings as well.

Check the video below for a short peek at what the mod does.

If you're interested in the mod, you can grab it from the Skyrim Mod page here, which also provides more details, and a closer look at what the mod does.
