Over 100 Titles Coming To PS Vita This Year

Sony's still trying to make their PS Vita the go to handheld.

Speaking with IGN, PlayStation’s director of product planning and platform software innovation Don Mesa says the company has plans to release over 100 games for the device just this year alone.

“I know there’s been a lot of noise about Vita recently,” Mesa said. “There were some negative impressions and so forth. One thing we haven’t had the opportunity to do is talk about how our Vita owners are feeling about the platform. It’s a good gut check for all of us, to know what’s happening now.”

Mesa didn't go into all the titles, but dropped a couple names, including "Hotline Miami," "Lone Survivor," "Frozen Synapse," "Thomas Was Alone," as well as "The Walking Dead." No, not that one, the good one.

It was also revealed that Sony Worldwide Studios are working on "interesting and innovative" titles. As opposed to dull and by-the-numbers ones?
