Fans eagerly waiting for "The Incredibles 2" movie were in for an early Halloween treat as Disney announced a few days ago that its release date will be moved earlier than announced. Initially, "The Incredibles 2" movie release date was set on 2019.
Its counterpart movie, "Toy Story 4," was supposed to be released on 2018. However, reports say that Disney has swapped the release dates for the aforementioned movies. The swap would mean that fans of "The Incredibles 2" movie will have shorter waiting time until they can see the Parr family on the big screen once again.
'The Incredibles 2' Movie Plot
"The Incredibles" movie and "Toy Story" movie are both fan favorites and are basically successful in terms of profits and performance. Plot-wise, the fans also love both the superhero family and Woody's gang.
With the swapping of the release dates of "The Incredibles 2" movie with "Toy Story 4," some fans came up with a mind-blowing yet highly possible theory. The said fan theory posits that there will be a crossover between "The Incredibles 2" movie and "Toy Story 4."
"The Incredibles 2" movie crossover with "Toy Story 4" will reportedly start with the toys ending up in Jack-jack's possession. There is an expected time jump in "The Incredibles 2" movie so it will most probably show Jack-Jack as a toddler.
The crossover between "The Incredibles 2" and "Toy Story 4" is very intriguing because there are previous reports saying that Jack-Jack might be the villain in the sequel. If "The Incredibles" crossover with "Toy Story" will really happen, Disney/Pixar can surely expect a top grossing movie.
