"Kingdom Heart's" developer Square Enix and Disney announced that they will be launching "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix" for PlayStation 4 on March 28, 2017 in North America and March 31st for the European release. Originally "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5" remakes were available first on the PlayStation 3 console, but since PS3 is now one console generation behind as of this moment, they had to create a version compatible with PS4.

"Kingdom Heart HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix" is an updated HD compilation of both remakes into one disc and boasts a gameplay frame rate of 60 frames per second. The players will also get a 3D remake of the Nintendo DS, "Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories" game that will bridge the gap between the first and second games.

According to IGN, the compilation is now available on Amazon for pre-orders, "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 remix". For "Kingdom Hearts 1.5" it will include, the "Kingdom Hearts Final Mix," "Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories," the HD remastered cinematics and "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days." "Kingdom Hearts 2.5," on the other hand, has the "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix," "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix" and "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded."

In celebration of their 15th year anniversary, Director Tetsuya Nomura in Dengeki PlayStation revealed that the cover of the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix" has some hidden messages to fans to decode in an interview. To recall, Square Enix and Disney made its debut exclusively on the PlayStation 2 back in 2002.

During the Paris Game Week, Square Enix and Disney also released a trailer for the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.8 ReMix". The new collection in PS4 gives us a new playable chapter leading into the release of Kingdom Hearts III in January 2017. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Kingdom Hearts" news and updates!
