The official Xbox website reported that "Gears of War 4" welcomes the partnership of Killer Mike and El-P as the rap duo Run the Jewels, wherein a resemblance on fighting alongside a friend becomes most valuable. The avatars of both rappers were well-designed by Microsoft and both artists were baffled with the magnificent outcome of their characters. The fun does not stop with the artists simply lending their voices and looks to these digital versions, as other contents are also to be released altogether.

There will be 18 new weapon skins, bounties and emblems in "Gears of War 4" that will partake the "Run the Jewels Air Drop" downloadable content update. Such can be utilized for multiplayer models and for the Horde, as well as having updated versions of Checkout and Drydock from the previous title.
