The "Final Fantasy 7" is slated for a remake with details revealed at the MAGIC 2017 event. Additionally, the game may roll out on PS4 Pro and the new Nintendo NX console. The game is said to undergo a complete overhaul to fit the latest gaming consoles.

The "Final Fantasy 7" director Tetsuya Nomura is expected to participate in the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences event aka MAGIC on Feb. 19, 2017. Square Enix is expected to unveil the details of the remake of "Final Fantasy VII" and the "Kingdom Hearts 3". On that note, Nomura said that more details for the two games will be revealed after the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" will be released on January.

Square Enix remains tight-lipped for the rest of the year giving way to "Final Fantasy XV". It should be noted that the publisher has not been the type to publicize numerous games simultaneously, according to report. It is expected that after the hype for both games dies down, more details should be expected about the "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7" remake.

Rumor has it that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be accessible on the PlayStation 4 Pro. A certain Reddit user central_void claims that the entire game has been overhauled to fit the parameters of the PS4 Pro. Additionally, the game is also rumored to roll out on the new Nintendo NX console.

In other news, the "Kingdom Hearts" hero Sora is slated to appear in the "World of Final Fantasy." The hero will be the first non- "Final Fantasy" to be included as a free downloadable content update. Sora is slated to make an appearance before "Final Fantasy 7" releases.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake is slated to arrive in 2017 following a major overhaul for the newest gaming consoles. Additionally, the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue HD" will also hit the market in 2017. Finally, a PS4 compilation of the three games in the series will reportedly arrive in Jan. 24, 2017, Polygon reported. Watch Final Fantasy VII remake on Nintendo NX? | Macintyre
