'Pokemon Go' Gameplay, Features, News & Updates: You Can Now Get Eevees By Hatching 5K Eggs! Find Out Here!

Hype for the "Pokemon" mobile game "Pokemon Go" has died down by a lot since its July launch, but developer Niantic Labs is still hard at work on the game. After a great Halloween update that saw it get some positive feedback for the first time in a while, it seems as though players have found one more good thing to make the game enjoyable.

Even though "Pokemon Go" is still not the "Pokemon" game diehard fans have asked for, it's still a fun thing to do for what it is, when the game is still fun. Earlier today, however, Game Rant reports that players have been discovering Eevees hatching from 5k eggs.

The Pokemon with the most diverse evolution tree was confirmed to only hatch from time-consuming 10k eggs. Now requiring only half the distance makes it easier to rack up Eevees for both leveling up Jolteons, Flareons, and Vaporeons, and as well as preparing for the second generation of Pokemon coming to "Pokemon Go."

Beyond this little but significant change to "Pokemon Go," Niantic is also planning to introduce daily quests and bonuses, something that's already a staple in most mobile games and MMORPGs. The official "Pokemon Go" website estimates that setting a quota for players to fulfill every day will be enough to keep them coming back. If it works for other games, then it should definitely work for them; it's just interesting that they didn't think of it any sooner.

"Pokemon Go" still needs to make a lot of changes before it brings back the millions of users they lost after the game's initial launch. Although they will be banking on the introduction of Generation 2 Pokemon to restore interest in the game, if something doesn't change, they'll see these same players go away soon after. There's no target date for the Generation 2 update yet, but only rumored to be coming.
