The crossover between television series and movies today is now a big hit. In fact, a lot of fans are expecting to witness it on their favorite shows, especially on the coming "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3. Evidently, a number of viewers are clamoring for "FWD" crossover with "The Walking Dead."
The screams for "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3 and "The Walking Dead" crossover got strong when the Whisperer War can now be seen in "TWD" comic books. Currently, Rick and his team are now facing a group of enemies called The Whisperers, Comic Book reported.
These antagonists are known for covering themselves with zombies' innards and walk among them that had been done by Nick Clark (Frank Dillane). Robert Kirkman himself even hinted the connection of "Fear the Walking Dead" characters and "The Walking Dead" survivors at the recent New York Comic-Con. With that, will a crossover be seen in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3?
In the comic book, The Whisperer is also featured when Eugene (Josh McDermitt) was seen having a conversation over a radio saying that people covered in zombies' gut are nearby. Hence, Robert Kirkman already addressed the issue to stop the speculations about a crossover in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3.
"It's possible this is a wink and a nudge to that. But this series is not connected to 'Fear the Walking Dead.' That series is separate," Robert Kirkman said. Cinema Blend also reported that the characters from the two giant television shows are owned by different companies. So, there will be a big conflict if there will be a crossover of "The Walking Dead" in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3.
"The Walking Dead" is basically based on Robert Kirkman's comic series with the same title and almost -- if not all -- of the show's characters are from the book. "Fear the Walking Dead," on the other hand, is a spinoff that has original characters specially developed for AMC. If there will be a crossover between "TWD" and "FWD" Skybound/Image Comics will need to license the AMC characters. If there will be no crossover in the comic version, it is also quite impossible to see it on "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3.
