Several websites show that the new "Metro Game" will be out next year. Deep Silver announced on his Facebook post that the new "Metro Game" may not be released in 2017. Metro 2035 website reveals its possible release date.

According to GameSpot, Publisher Deep Silver posted on facebook that it has ambitious plans for the "Metro" series. But to manage the expectations of their fans, the publisher added that they have more news to share and next "Metro Game" release for 2017 is not included. The timeline on the Metro 2035 website is also changed to "an untitled Metro project" without a date.

The Metro 2035 website revealed that the next video game in the "Metro," the final novel in the book series of Dmitry Glukhovsky, will be released next year. It reveals information about "Metro" books, video games and the events of each one.

As the website pegs the 2017 release of the new "Metro Game," it wrote in its description that when the books end their story, the game will pick it up. It added that discoveries lie ahead. These give the hints that the game will follow right after the events of Metro 2035 that is set in English this holiday. Previous interviews also give hints of the development of the new "Metro Game."

"Metro: Last Light" is the latest game in the series. It hit the market in 2013 and received a 9/10 score among reviews, after "Last Light, Deep Silver" released "Metro Redux." This is a collection of the series and includes two games remastered for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For now, the first chapter of Metro 2035, which is the last book in the trilogy is available to read for free.
