WWE is surely hoping for a massive hit. That is because the company of the two brands "Smack Down Live and Raw" will be together for one explosive night. The event is called the "WWE Survivor Series" 2016.
The "WWE Suvivor Series" is usually characterized by the traditional Survivor Series matches. There will be a 5-on-5 as well as 10-on-10 bouts that has been set for the event. This means that a good majority of both rosters will see various actions for the night. This signals a nice throwback for WWE, as the event will definitely live up to its name.
However, this year's "WWE Survivor Series" is more than the traditional wrestling matches. It will also feature two championship title matches such as Dolph Zigglers Intercontinental Championship vs. Zammy Zayn, Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto for the Cruiserweight championship and the much awaited rematch between Brock Lesnar and Bill Golberg.
The battle for the Intercontinental Championship is one of those key match ups that will headline the "WWE Survivor Series 2016". Apparently the Intercontinental Championship and the Cruiserweight Championship are the only titles on the line this year. Fans are heavily favoring current Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler winning against Zammy Zayn. However, a match between two high flyers is going to be an amazing one.
As mentioned, another crucial match up for the "WWE Survivor Series 2016" is the Cruiserweight Championship between current Welterweight Champion Brian Kendrick and challenger Kalisto. If Kalisto wins, he will bring the entire Cruiserweight division over to Smack Down. For that reason, fans are rooting for the smaller challenger, considering the high stakes of this match.
Another match up that fans look forward to in "WWE Survivor Series" is the rematch between Brock Lesnar and Bill Golberg. Bill Golberg will return to the WWE after a 12-year absence since 2004. Although Bill Golberg has beaten Lesnar before, a lot of things had change since Golberg's absence.
Leading to the "WWE Survivor Series" 2016, Brock Lesnar became a former "UFC" champion, not to mention in fighting shape dubbed as The Beast Incarnate. Will Bill Golberg beat Brock Lesnar? That question will be answered when the two athletes finally meet on Nov 20, 2016. Should Golberg fall, he will join the ranks of legends that Lesnar has beaten. Lesnar will always be remembered as the one who ended the winning streak of the Undertaker in Wrestlemania 30.
Speaking of the 5 vs 5 traditional match, the WWE Survivor Series 2016 will be divided to two divisions. In the men's division, the matchup is between Team Smack Down led by AJ Styles, against Team Raw led by Kevin Owens.
